How To Use

Meditation :

Meditation & relaxation are not something that we need to learn, but are natural states of being that we are born with. What really needs to be done is to remove the obstacles that hamper this natural state from functioning easily and effortlessly. Engaging into inspiring activities can help enhance the process.

Meditation has various benefits, but starting with expectations would not lead to its real fulfillment.

How to use the Pillows :

One needs to choose the right kind and size of pillow according to their individual preferences. Be it 'Zafu', 'Cresent Zafu' or "smiley' pillow.

Following are the suggested ways of sitting on the pillow. However, comfort and relaxation are more important that the posture. The hand positions can vary.

(Posture ‘a’ is ideal. To begin with, one can start with ‘b’ and then switch to ‘a’ after sufficient practice. Postures ‘d’ and ‘e’ are only for people who cannot take the above due to age or health issues)

a : full lotus position: put your right
foot with the sole up on your left thigh
and then put your left foot with the
sole up on your right thigh. Your two
knees touch the mat.

b : half-lotus position: put your left foot with the sole up on your right thigh. The other foot rests on the mat. Your two knees touch the mat.

c : burmese position : both the legs  are folded and rest on the mat. Your two knees touch the mat.
d : seiza position: sit on the seiza bench with your
legs folded inwards, not touching each other.
e : chair position : sit on a chair with a ‘zafu’ on the back rest and get a position so that your spine remains straight. Your legs touch the floor/ mat and are parallel to each other.

Allow meditation to happen.
And step into the world of 'well-being'.
